Bali Luxury Import is the import-concierge desk of Juara Holding Group, operating from Bali since 2015. We coordinate vetted licensed customs and freight partners; we are not a licensed customs, legal or tax adviser. Final duty is set by Direktorat Jenderal Bea dan Cukai.

How Long Does Furniture Shipping to Bali Take?
By air into Ngurah Rai cargo, or by sea into Jakarta or Surabaya with onward transhipment. Green channel means document checks; red channel adds a physical inspection.
Australian origins run two to four weeks on the ocean leg. Indicative as of 2026; rates move with carrier schedules and fuel surcharges.

Duty, PPN and PPnBM are calculated on CIF value — cost, insurance and freight — so shipping spend raises the taxable base. The final figure is set by Direktorat Jenderal Bea dan Cukai.
Uncleared cargo accrues storage and demurrage at port, so we pre-lodge documents before the vessel arrives.

Which Documents Does Luxury Furniture Need?
Wooden furniture is the document-heavy category — and most luxury pieces are wood.
- 01 SVLK or FSC timber-legality paperwork for species and origin
- 02 Fumigation or phytosanitary certificates, with ISPM-15 crating
- 03 Commercial invoice and packing list matching the declared CIF value
- 04 Power of attorney so the licensed broker can clear on your behalf
- 05 An NPWP tax number may be required — flagged at quote stage
Declare accurately. Mis-declaration can mean fines and confiscation. We never under-value an invoice — the official channel is the only channel we run, and the only one that leaves clean paperwork for insurance and resale.

How Do You Protect Furniture From Bali’s Humidity?
Humidity is the quiet destroyer of imported furniture: veneers lift, timber warps, upholstery grows mould in a sealed container crossing the equator. Coastal villas in Canggu, Seminyak and Sanur add salt air.
We specify moisture-barrier foil with desiccant, tropical-grade plywood crates, and climate-controlled storage if your villa is not ready. On delivery day the crew unpacks indoors, lets pieces acclimatise and photographs condition against the origin report.
