Questions, Answered Plainly

What duties apply to furniture imported to Bali?

Furniture under HS chapter 94 carries an indicative 15–25% MFN duty band on CIF, plus PPN at 11–12% and PPh 22 import at 7.5–10% (non-API), both computed on CIF plus duty. Bands as of 2026; the final rate follows DJBC's HS classification.

Can I import a car into Bali?

Yes, case-by-case. CBU vehicles under HS chapter 87 face duty up to 50% and PPnBM of 15–95% depending on engine size and body type, plus PPN and PPh 22. We handle RoRo or container transport and road-legal registration, and quote each vehicle individually.

Do KITAS/KITAP holders pay duty on used household goods?

Qualifying used personal effects owned and used abroad by a KITAS/KITAP holder can enter under the customs personal-effects exemption pathway, collapsing duty, PPN and PPh 22 to zero for those items. The final ruling rests with DJBC at clearance.

Which villa areas do you deliver to?

Canggu, Seminyak, Umalas and Sanur within a day of port release; Ubud, Uluwatu and Nusa Dua in 1–2 days; Tabanan in 2–3 days. Delivery includes stairs, threshold placement, unpacking, assembly and debris removal.

Will you declare a lower value to save me duty?

No. We refuse under-invoicing and work on the official channel only. What we do instead is publish the honest duty anatomy up front, classify correctly, and use every legitimate pathway — such as the personal-effects exemption — that the rules actually provide.
