How Are Fragile Decor Pieces Crated for the Tropics?
Two forces ruin decor shipments to Bali — transit shock and humidity — so handling is specified per piece.
The climate step is not optional: every crate we commission is tropical-grade timber with moisture-barrier lining, and climate-controlled storage is available when your villa fit-out runs behind the shipment.

What Do Decor Imports Cost and How Long Do They Take?
Air freight into Ngurah Rai cargo in Tuban, or sea freight into Jakarta or Surabaya with onward transhipment to the island.
Freight and handling only; subject to change. Bea masuk, PPN and, for certain categories, PPnBM are assessed on CIF value by HS code, and the final amount is determined by Direktorat Jenderal Bea dan Cukai. Green channel is a document check; red channel adds a physical inspection and days. Uncleared cargo accrues storage and demurrage at port.

Which Decor Items Face Restrictions at Customs?
Three decor categories deserve a screen before you pay any seller.
Animal-product rugs and hides. Pieces from protected species — or inlaid with ivory, tortoiseshell or certain corals — can be seized outright under wildlife-trade rules; others need permits.
Wooden frames, panels and chandelier bodies. Wood items may need SVLK or FSC timber-legality paperwork plus fumigation or phytosanitary certificates. Carved mirror frames trip this rule constantly.
Mattresses and textiles. Certain categories sit on Indonesia’s restricted-goods lists and can require import licensing; used items draw tighter scrutiny than new.
Declare honestly, always. Brokerage runs under power of attorney, an NPWP tax number can be required, and mis-declaration can mean fines and confiscation. Under-invoicing is never on the table.

How Does Booking Work?
- 01 Send your list Photos, dimensions and the purchase location, by WhatsApp or the quote form.
- 02 Feasibility screen Within 24 hours: restricted materials, wood-paperwork needs and the sensible freight mode.
- 03 Indicative quote Dated, line by line, with duty and PPN ranges subject to DJBC assessment.
- 04 Crating and pickup Partner crews collect from the seller, build tropical-grade crates, book flight or vessel.
- 05 Clearance A licensed broker clears under power of attorney, at Ngurah Rai or via Java ports.
- 06 White-glove delivery Unpacked and positioned in Canggu, Ubud, Seminyak or Sanur; debris gone the same day.
